A video showing Harry Richie's ex-girlfriend, Phyiona Mary Amukowa, in a late-night confrontation outside a residential building has gone viral, and the man at the centre of it all is speaking out.
Harry Richie, the Kenyan musician known for the hit Vaida, in an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, came forward with a detailed account of his tumultuous relationship with Phyiona Mary Amukowa, popularly known as Fifi Mesh, after footage of the incident began circulating online.
In the video, a woman is heard screaming and demanding her phone be returned while banging on a barred door at night, with the interior of the residence visible through the window.
Harry Richie's side of the story
Harry Richie shared a series of text messages with Tuko, laying out what he described as a deeply troubled relationship that began in 2022.
He claims things unravelled quickly once he discovered she had not been honest with him from the start.
"Initially she lied to me that she's co-parenting with the baby daddy but just to find that she's faking life on everything," he wrote.
He added that Fifi Mesh is an American deportee, a detail he says he only learnt after they had already built a life together.
He says he eventually made the decision to end the relationship but claims she refused to let go.
"I decided to leave her but all in vain she clubs everyday with her friends... and so many others," he said.
Rent claims and property destruction
The dispute escalated further after Fifi Mesh allegedly went on TikTok Live and claimed she had been paying Harry Richie's rent. He flatly denied this.
"The other day she claimed live on TikTok that she was paying rent for me but in real sense I am the one who pays my bills and cater for her," he wrote.
Beyond the social media war of words, Harry Richie says the situation has taken a dangerous physical turn.
He told Tuko.co.ke that he is genuinely scared for his life, claiming she has vandalised multiple houses he has moved into since the breakup.
On at least one occasion, he says the destruction extended beyond his own property, forcing him to compensate neighbours whose belongings were also damaged.

Will Harry quit music?
We also highlighted facts about the celebrated Vaida hitmaker, who has announced his departure from the music scene due to financial instability within the industry.
