Video: Kanyari flaunts his 10-acre farm with fish ponds, free staff housing
This story has significance for readers across Kenya and beyond.
- Pastor Kanyari gave fans a full walking tour of his rural farm, proudly declaring himself a serious farmer with ten acres of land
- The property features a fish pond, goat and cattle enclosures, and finished houses he says workers live in for free
- A yellow campaign vest reading 'Victor Kanyari MP Kasarani 2027' was visible on an assistant during the tour, hinting at political ambitions
Pastor Victor Kanyari turned vlogger on 18 August 2026, posting a casual walking tour of what he calls "Master Kanyari Farm", a ten-acre rural property he appears to be developing into a full working farm.
Filmed in a selfie-style video, Kanyari strolled dirt paths on the land, proudly pointing the camera at everything from a fish pond to goat and cattle enclosures.
"Mimi ni mkulima pia kiviyangu," he declared, insisting that anyone who doubted his farming credentials needed to see this for themselves.
What is on Kanyari's farm?
The property is modest but busy. Kanyari showed off animal pens housing goats, cattle and sheep, a fish pond that has already attracted significant online debate, and a cluster of finished residential houses he says workers use rent-free whenever he visits.
"Nikija huku maraka, zangu wana zaka kwa farm tulale huku," he said, describing the houses as accommodation for those working the land.
An unfinished multi-storey building was also visible in the background, suggesting construction is still ongoing.
A white Toyota Land Cruiser parked on the grounds added to the impression of a man who has done well for himself.
One detail that caught many viewers' eyes, however, had nothing to do with farming: an assistant accompanying Kanyari was spotted wearing a bright yellow vest emblazoned with the words "Victor Kanyari MP Kasarani 2027."

Here are some of the reactions from social media users:
@Mr African warned:
"Wrong way to acclimatise the fish first."
@N3mz was more blunt:
"I thought ukulima ni step by step. Sasa ukieka samaki milioni moja kwa fish pond ndio gani hizo."
@Kios echoed the concern:
"That's not the right way to introduce fish to a pond."
Others were less worried about the farming and more interested in the opportunities on display. @TAUSI MPENDWA wrote:
"Kanyari pea mtoto wangu kazi please asikue mwizi."
@Musa Lugulu simply stated:
"I need a job."
@carey flo put it light-heartedly:
"Nipee wira mhesh 😂😂😂😂."
@Triss Williams asked:
"Can I be your manager please."
@stevedokusteve referenced what appeared to be a past controversy:
"Hiyo 310 uli utilise vizuri."
@Steven Khan summed up the mood for many with:
"The game is not fair 😂😂."
@Rachel, meanwhile, kept it simple:
"Kanyari is a sharp boy."
The tour comes as the controversial pastor-turned-public figure continues to court attention both online and, it seems, in the political arena.
