Corporate MC and event host MC Donga has sent Kenyans into a frenzy after sharing photos of himself alongside former President Uhuru Kenyatta at a high-end wedding reception.
Donga, known professionally as a corporate experience host, summit moderator and talent connector, posted the images on Instagram on Monday, August 17.
What did Uhuru do at wedding?
He captioned them with a Bible verse from Proverbs 22:29:
"Show me an MC skilled in what he does, he will stand before kings!"
The actual Bible verse reads:
"Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank."
In the photos, Donga arrived looking sharp in a suit and hat.
Uhuru, seated and dressed in a patterned shirt, appeared genuinely delighted as he reached out to shake the MC's hand.
Further images showed the two engaged in what looked like a warm conversation at the venue.
Kenya's fourth president has kept a relatively low public profile since leaving office, making the appearance all the more noteworthy.
The elegant indoor setting hinted at the kind of upscale gathering that typically draws Kenya's political and business elite.
Former education cabinet secretary Jacob Kaimenyi was also present at the event, his attendance alongside Uhuru adding to the buzz surrounding the occasion.
The images had actually begun circulating on Facebook earlier after influencer Tyson Kiptui shared them, sparking considerable online interest.
The original photographer reportedly removed the pictures from social media shortly after, though by then they had already spread widely.
The post drew warm responses from Donga's followers, many of whom celebrated the milestone with him:
@perfectbite254:
"The man Donga himself! Keep shining!"
@ryroc_official_:
"God did it, bro."
@antosantosnjoroge:
"Wow, this is awesome, bro."
@kafeteriann:
"My president."
