I Will Not Work With Anyone Who Insults Gachagua - Ndindi Nyoro
This story has significance for readers across Kenya and beyond.
Kiharu Member of Parliament (MP) Ndindi Nyoro has declared that hw will not work with anyone who insults DCP Leader Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking on Wednesday, August 19, Nyoro stated that he would not entertain anyone, especially those still affiliated with UDA, who have disrespected Gachagua in the past.
He added that before they decide to defect from UDA to his People's Party of Kenya, the leaders must first apologise to the DCP Leader at Wamunyoro.
The MP added that the embargo also extends to pro-government leaders who have insulted other leaders in the United Opposition, including Jubilee's Fred Matiang'i, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, and PLP's Martha Karua.
"I saw some of the UDA leaders congratulating me for forming my party. If you are still in government and you have insulted Gachagua, the People's Party has no time for you unless you go and make amends with him," he stated.

Nyoro added that his party will not be receiving with open arms leaders who were involved in the deployment of goons to churches.
The MP acknowledged the doubts cast on his defection from UDA and his true motive for joining the Opposition. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that President William Ruto is not re-elected, and stated that he will be vindicated in due time.
"Ruto is Kenya's number one enemy. Ndindi Nyoro will not fight anyone who supports the mission to send him to Sugoi, or anyone who says 'Wantam'.
"Sometimes I see that people do not understand me, but you will know my true colours in the near future. We must finish this journey to send him home," he reiterated.
Nyoro's sentiments come amid subtle attacks by leaders allied to Gachagua who claim that his party was just an extension of the UDA.
Nyandarua Senator John Methu, who also doubles as the DCP Secretary General, claimed that Nyoro's PPK was a 'wheelbarrow party' deployed by Ruto to scuttle the Mount Kenya vote.
Methu claimed that DCP had prior knowledge of the MP's departure from UDA and questioned how he managed to register a new party, even as Linda Mwananchi had taken months to register as a party.
However, a spot check reveals that PPK is not a new political party. It has existed since 1996 and was recertified under the Political Parties Act in April 2012.
