UK budget hotel group Travelodge announced Thursday that CEO Jo Boydell has stepped down, following months of pressure over the group’s handling of a high-profile sexual assault case that exposed security failures.
Chief Financial Officer Ray Reidy has been appointed as interim CEO, and the board has begun the search for a permanent replacement.
