You Were Chased Away Like an Idiot - Kindiki Tells Gachagua
This story has significance for readers across Kenya and beyond.
On Friday, August 21, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki renewed his attacks on his predecessor Rigathi Gachagua.
Kindiki shamed Gachagua for blowing the opportunity to lead the country by fighting his boss and other leaders, which resulted in him being kicked out of government.
He claimed that the DCP Leader was a victim of his folly, adding that he would not place himself in a position where the whole country unites to remove him from office.
"Gachagua took some shortcuts and managed to get a big job but lost it because he did not know how to safeguard it. You are given a big job only to be sent away like a stupid person.
"I am the DP. Do you think that anyone can remove me from my seat? It is not possible because I will defend myself," the DP stated.

The country's Number Two further called out the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Leader for constantly referring to him as 'Soprano'.
He stated that giving nicknames is immature and childish behaviour and called on Gachagua to focus on telling Kenyans about his agenda for the country.
"I hear someone calling me 'Soprano'. He is useless and has no idea how to better our country. His only work is to give nicknames, which is the behaviour of pupils in Grade 3 and Grade 5.
"If we start insulting each other based on how people were created, some of these people, you know how they look, will hide themselves in shame," he reiterated.
Kindiki maintained that he would not stoop to Gachagua's level. Meanwhile, he met 15,000 elected UDA grassroots officials from Tharaka Nithi County.
He commissioned them to defend the party and the government at the onset of the election year. The DP explained that the officials would be the frontline army to explain the government's progress in implementing the UDA manifesto.
His sentiments came amid consistent attacks by Gachagua, who trolls him about his high-pitched voice and mimics him during his campaigns.
