Nairobi - The Kenya Meteorological Department issued a five-day weather forecast on Thursday, August 20, 2026, covering weather conditions expected between Friday, August 21, and Tuesday, August 25, across multiple counties.
The bulletin spans counties from vastly different climatic zones, including arid and semi-arid regions in the north and east, central highlands, the Rift Valley, Nyanza, and Nairobi.
Forecast conditions across regions
In arid counties such as Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit, and Isiolo, conditions are expected to be largely dry with sunny intervals and partly cloudy skies across the five-day period.
Turkana is forecast to experience some of the highest temperatures in the country, with maximums reaching 36°C and minimums dipping to 11°C.
