The Parliamentary Service Commission has advertised 12 positions under its Parliamentary Pupillage Programme 2027, inviting law students from across Kenya to undertake their pupillage at the Parliament of Kenya for a period of six months.

Parliament of Kenya is among the institutions gazetted under the Council of Legal Education (Admission) Regulations, 2007 as approved venues for pupillage training.
Eligibility Requirements for Applicants
To qualify, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at Upper Second Class Honours or above from a recognised university.
They must also demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili, with a minimum grade of B plain in each subject.
Additionally, shortlisted pupils are expected to show computer literacy, a proactive attitude, and a readiness to work as part of a team on tasks with demanding timelines. The programme commences on February 1, 2027.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to complete the Parliamentary Service Commission Job Application Form (Form IJ), available for download from the Commission's official website or collected in person from the reception desk at the Ground Floor, County Hall, Parliament Buildings, Nairobi, during regular office hours.
Applications must include a copy of the letter of admission to the Kenya School of Law, certified copies of academic certificates, and testimonials.
All documents must be compiled into a single PDF file and submitted by email to recruitment.pupils@gmail.com on or before September 21, 2025.
The Commission issued a firm warning that applications submitted without the completed Form IJ will not be considered under any circumstances. Hard copy applications will similarly be rejected outright.
