A Kenyan TikToker known as Cindy Baibe found herself at the centre of a very public storm after a confrontation with a Nairobi county official ended with her losing her TikTok account entirely.
The drama began after Cindy and her boyfriend, Medusa, were filmed getting close in a video that quickly caught attention online. Nairobi county official Geoffrey Mosiria noticed the clip and publicly called the two out over it. Rather than let the moment pass, Cindy fired back hard.
Cindy's mansion tour goes viral
Her response came in the form of a live house tour aimed squarely at Mosiria, with the TikToker making it abundantly clear that she believed he was in no position to judge her lifestyle.
"You cannot afford my life. Wenye unahang out na wao naweza walipia rent wote. Wacha nimpee house tour. Anadhani mimi ni mtu wa hivi givi," she said at the start of the clip, before taking viewers through what appeared to be a well-furnished home.
She walked her audience through a sweeping staircase leading to an upstairs bedroom fitted with a ring light, a plush white bed and a couch. In the kitchen and dining area, she continued taunting the official, asking:
"Can you afford this kitchen? Usiniangalie hapo uanze kuniaddress." She also referenced a television set, saying, "Mosiria naweza kukuweka, TV niko nayo ya 75 inches."
The tour ended on the outdoor veranda, where she presented a Toyota Harrier and confirmed it was hers.
