Former High Court Judge Joseph Mbalu Mutava dies

Several leaders, including Wiper Patriotic Front leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, sent condolence messages. Kalonzo eulogised Mutava as a man who served with honour and quiet distinction.
Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama described Mutava as a long-time family friend.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my long-time family friend, Former High Court Judge Justice Joseph Mbalu Mutava,” Muthama said.
Justice Mutava was the husband of Kibwezi East MP Jessica Nduku Mbalu.
Mutava was appointed a High Court judge in 2011 and served at the Milimani Commercial Courts before his removal from the Judiciary in 2016.
