Maame Hannah, A Ghanaian, joined the Oyerepa Afutuo programme to speak about what she described as her husband's failure to provide for her after he relocated to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
According to a report sighted by TUKO.co.ke on Ghanaweb, her husband Takyi Prince had initially been sending her KSh 8,000 monthly after leaving, but the money dried up after he accused her of cheating.
"When he went, he used to send me KSh 8,000 a month, but we were owing the light bill, so I used part of the money to pay the bills, and he later stopped sending me money, accusing me of cheating on him," Hannah told the show.
How the Affairs Unfolded
Prince connected to the broadcast remotely from Dubai and gave a completely different account of events.
He told host Auntie Naa that Hannah had called him repeatedly over time, confessing her affairs one after another.
"She called me one day that she wanted to tell me something so I said she should go ahead and she said there was a man who was worrying her and she later slept with her. So I told her I had forgiven her so she should never try that again but she still went ahead sleeping with other men and came back to tell me that this is what she has done," Prince recounted.
He said that despite forgiving her after the first confession, the behaviour persisted until the number of men reached seven.
Divorce Demands and Financial Claims
Hannah acknowledged during the broadcast that financial strain had made it harder for her to turn away the advances of other men, and she did not deny the affairs outright.
Prince, however, made clear he had no interest in saving the seven-year marriage and wants it dissolved.
Before agreeing to any separation, Hannah put forward her own demands. She called on Prince to repay a KSh 23,000 loan and to hand over her share of proceeds from a farm the couple had previously owned together.
The candid exchange drew considerable attention, with both husband and wife laying their most personal grievances bare before a live studio audience and viewers watching from home.
