Kenya's Ministry of Education, through the State Department of Vocational and Technical Training, has advertised four vacant positions at Jeremiah Nyaga National Polytechnic (JNNP) in Embu County, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply.
The notice appeared in the MyGov publication on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
The polytechnic, established under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act, 2013, is seeking to fill the positions on a competitive basis.
Which jobs did Ministry of Education announce?
Four roles are on offer.
The first is an internal auditor, re-advertised under reference JNNP/I.A/2026/2, carrying a basic monthly salary of KSh 39,000.
The second position is a driver (JNNP/DRV/2026/1), attracting a basic pay of KSh 14,610 per month.
The polytechnic is also recruiting a supply chain management Officer (JNNP/SC/2026/1) at KSh 39,000 per month and an assistant supply chain management officer (JNNP/ASCMO/2026/1) at KSh 28,000 per month.
Each position has one available post.

Unlike many public-sector recruitment processes that accept digital submissions, JNNP requires applicants to submit physical documents.
Candidates must prepare and deliver a hand-written or typed application letter, a completed application form, a curriculum vitae, copies of professional certificates, and any other supporting testimonials.
All documents must be delivered in person or by post to the chief principal and council secretary at Jeremiah Nyaga National Polytechnic, P.O. Box 1264, 60100 Embu.
The deadline for receipt of applications is Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 5:00pm. Late submissions will not be considered.
