Kenya Space Agency Announces Job Vacancies [Details]

The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) has announced 35 job opportunities for Kenyans.
In an advertisement on Tuesday, August 18, KSA invited interested and qualified candidates to apply for the jobs.
“The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) is established as a State Corporation in the Ministry of Defense vide Legal Notice No. 22 of 7th March 2017. The Mandate of the Agency is to promote, coordinate, and regulate space-related activities in the country.
“The Kenya Space Agency notifies the public of the following vacancies,” read the advert in part.
The vacant positions include: Principal Officer, Remote Sensing, Principal Officer, Geographic Information System, Space Infrastructure and Facility Development Officer, Space Science and Astronomy Officer, Space Operations and Systems Engineer, Navigation and Positioning Officer, Satellite Communication Officer, Surveillance Officer, Enforcement Officer, Remote Sensing Officer and Geographic Information Systems Officer.

Others are: Geo-Information & Data Management Officer, Software Engineer, Space Digital Infrastructure Officer, Space Research & Innovation Officer, Space Education & Awareness Officer, Planning Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Finance Officer, Accountant, Internal Auditor, Human Resource Officer and Administration Officer.
The agency is also seeking to fill the positions of: Corporate Communications Officer, Legal Officer, Supply Chain Management Officer, Assistant Corporate Communications Officer, Driver, Senior Office Assistant and Office Assistant.

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online via the KSA recruitment portal. https://ksa.go.ke/ksa-careers.
KSA noted that the deadline for submitting applications is on August 31, 2026, at midnight.
The agency warned applicants that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
Further, KSA said successful candidates will be required to present a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a Compliance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans board (HELB), a Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), and Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Elsewhere, the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has announced 9 job vacancies for medical professionals.
The vacancies include: Chief Medical Specialist (Diabetes & Endocrinology), Medical Specialist (Neurology, Medical Specialist (Paediatric Pulmonologist), Medical Specialist (Paediatric Gastroenterologist), Medical Specialist (Pain & Palliative), Medical Specialist (Orthopedic Surgery-Hand), Medical Specialist (Plastic Surgery) and Medical Specialist (Cardiothoracic Surgery).
